Hi Dr. Owei, Please forgive the delayed response. There are a few places that would be beneficial for you. I am placing the links below.
Christian Booksellers Association (CBA)- www.cbaonline.org
The Church Bookstore Network- www.thechurchbookstore.com
Bookstore Manager- www.bsmgr.net

and of course we would love to help you in any way that we can. Ultimately you will need the help of someone who can work directly with your store manager to help shape things to fit your congregation and ministry.

I have been appointed to the position of a deacon in our church and one of my responsibility is to manage the bookstore sales and Inventory control. Could you please advise me where to get resources and information. Thanks. Best regards, AO

I would also suggest that the reason these 4 mistakes are made is due to a lack of planning. Too often I've seen church bookstore staff not think about Christmas until October/November. Your holiday strategy should be planned no later than the 1st quarter of the year (the same time you debrief what worked and did not work the preceding Christmas season. A strategic plan is a must as this will incorporate all of the mistakes noted in your articles - and by planning ahead you'll have the budget, resources and strategies in place to make this a profitable as well as joyous season.

Hi James,
Can you be more specific with what you are wanting? Are you looking for some pictures of an inventory in action or something that is more step by step showing how to do so?
I currently do not have pictures of inventory in action but we have been considering doing a short training video that we would post on the site for visitors to use. Are you planning an inventory soon?
